Job Description

Position Overview

Join AdventHealth Tampa as a Registered Nurse and become part of an award‐winning team known for pioneering work in cardiovascular care, advanced robotics in spine surgery, and comprehensive stroke care. In this role, you will provide self‐directed, effective nursing care to groups of patients while upholding Division of Nursing standards and state regulations. Schedule: Full Time, Location: AdventHealth Tampa. Shift: Days.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care including observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care, along with health teaching and counseling to promote wellness and illness prevention.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed or authorized, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
  • Supervise and educate other personnel in clinical practices to ensure high-quality care delivery.
  • Communicate courteously with patients, families, and team members, developing positive working relationships and ensuring a respectful environment.
  • Adhere to organizational standards for professional appearance and collaborate with colleagues for efficient patient admission, discharge, and transfer processes.
  • Consider safety, effectiveness, cost, and clinical impact when delivering nursing services.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of a school of Nursing.
  • Current registration with the Florida State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse, or licensure from another state with verification of application and eligibility for Florida licensure by endorsement.
