In this role, you will work closely with major semiconductor and data center customers to understand their needs, leverage the strength of Lightmatter's internal teams to meet those needs and obtain commitments for the use of our products. This is a highly visible role, responsible for multiple market maker accounts at which you will be the face and voice of Lightmatter. Emphasis will be placed on attitude, communication skills, and the ability to represent the company to the highest standard. Come help build the future!

Key Responsibilities
- Responsibilities: Full ownership of assigned customers; you are the authoritative link between Lightmatter and the field.
- Drive substantial sales conversations that uncover core motivators for customer decision-making and overlay Lightmatter solutions to address those needs.
- Leverage strong communication skills and collaborate closely with the Lightmatter support team to drive agreements to closure.
- Provide input as the ‘voice of the customer’ into Lightmatter’s go-to-market strategy.
- Drive the long-term success of the US Enterprise and Datacenter team by being a collaborative leader among your peers.
- Understand the selling/buying cycle within the Enterprise and Datacenter customer space and ensure Lightmatter is in sync with customer demand.
- Manage several major accounts including hyperscale class customers and provide forecasts for each key consumer.
- Demonstrate an entrepreneurial attitude with a high level of business acumen, interacting with C-level executives as well as engineering teams.
- Exhibit strong presentation skills by concisely and accurately conveying key aspects of Lightmatter’s value proposition.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years overall experience in the semiconductor industry.
- 5+ years of direct Enterprise and/or Datacenter sales experience.
- Education: BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Understanding of Enterprise and Datacenter infrastructure (CPU, GPU, Networking).
- High level understanding of machine learning models and their use cases.
- Demonstrable track record of revenue growth and ability to close greenfield opportunities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven experience interfacing with management and engineering teams.
- Strong team-centric attitude and interpersonal skills.
- Process-oriented approach to navigate and close deals with large, complex corporations.
- Availability to travel 30% to 50% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
- AI/ML and HPC Networking experience.
