Position Overview
Join our team as a Entry Level Controls Engineer at Design Group, a leader in system integration and manufacturing technology. You will work alongside industry experts to design, program, and troubleshoot control systems that help shape modern manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities
- Apply your knowledge of programming methods, electrical design, and engineering problem solving to modern manufacturing practices.
- Design, program, and troubleshoot packaging machinery and control systems.
- Travel nationwide to assist in the design of manufacturing processes, manage projects, and develop facilities.
- Create user applications to monitor and control production while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Design control systems, electrical panels, PLC programs, and human machine interfaces (HMIs).
- Support project teams in delivering high-quality solutions to our clients.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to simultaneously organize and execute multiple project responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with management, clients, and vendors.
- Willingness to travel for project requirements including installations, trainings, seminars, and conventions.
- Bachelor of science in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or an equivalent technical degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Co-op or project experience with electrical engineering and PLC automation applications (preferred).
- Co-op or project experience with pharmaceutical, consumer products, and high-speed environments (preferred).
