We are seeking a Sr. Digital Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of digital marketing programs that drive growth and revenue across digital channels—from content ideation and execution to measurement across the sales/marketing funnel. You will be responsible for developing strategies across Merrell & Chaco’s digital ecosystem, including organic social, influencer, paid media, merrell.com, chaco.com, and CRM.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads the execution of brand digital content that is fully integrated across channels and measurable in market to drive engagement, positive sentiment, and conversion.
- Drives innovation and cross-channel marketing programs based on digital marketing principles, leveraging desirable digital content for paid and owned media channels.
- Engages relevant internal and external partners to create appropriate digital assets for campaign execution and drives media analytical tool strategy.
- Sources and develops engaging content for owned channels—including blog, website, and social—and provides asset manuals to partners.
- Drives influencer marketing strategy alongside external partners to achieve earned and paid KPIs, and identifies initiatives to boost audience acquisition, retention, and growth.
- Owns influencer briefing and content strategy to complement PR influencer activations and maintain key relationships and programs.
- Develops and executes plans, including overseeing planning and content development for media partner programs to ensure assets and resources are provided.
- Implements a digital content testing plan.
- Leads with a data-first mindset by leveraging data to inform campaign development, tracking campaigns, and identifying opportunities for change and growth.
- Performs duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
- Performs other duties as required/assigned by the manager.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years of omni-channel marketing experience, including writing and creating original digital content. Consumer product experience is required; experience in the footwear or apparel industry is preferred.
- A deep understanding of digital best practices and established relationships in the digital space (e.g., content creators, agencies).
- Ability to listen, engage, and continuously respond to consumers to drive trial, loyalty, and advocacy.
- Acts as a change agent and supports a culture of curiosity.
- Proven leadership with at least 2 years’ experience in leading and developing a team.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate data into actionable insights.
- Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships to develop impactful sales and brand equity programs.
- A solution-oriented approach with a spirit of continuous improvement.
- Comfortable with public speaking and presenting, and capable of leading purposeful, action-driven meetings.
- Excellent project and time management skills with keen attention to detail while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
