Our client, a leading provider in the Telecommunications industry, is seeking a skilled Network Operations Engineer to join their technical team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, US. This role is essential for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of the company's telecommunications network infrastructure. You will be responsible for monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving network issues, and implementing network upgrades and maintenance.

Key duties include:

• Troubleshooting network connectivity problems
• Managing network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Participating in the design and implementation of new network solutions

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in network operations and support
• Hands-on experience with various networking protocols, TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and network security principles
• Proficiency with network monitoring tools and network configuration management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA or Network+ are highly desirable
