Job Description

A regional civil engineering firm is looking for a Senior Engineer to join their growing team. As a Senior Project Engineer in San Diego, CA you will have an opportunity to serve our client base in the Southern California area. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team on meaningful, landmark projects in the area.

Responsibilities

• Sustain positive business relationships, obtain new work, and to-market services
• Manage a team of engineers and designers through construction bid documents, support, and field coordination
• Manage project schedules and budgets with private and public agencies
• Prepare and process public improvement plans
• Providing mentoring and training of junior engineers and designers

Qualifications

• BSc in Civil Engineering, PE License in California
• 15+ Years experience in civil engineering, particularly in site design
• 5+ years management experience supervising the work of technical staff required
• Knowledge of jurisdictional codes, standards, and procedures in California and the San Diego region is strongly preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D
