As a Marketing/Public Relations Manager: you will work directly with the Director of Sales & Marketing to develop, implement, and oversee marketing and PR strategies that support multiple departments including Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Spa/Retail.

Schedule: Full time
Salary: $80,000 - $85,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute comprehensive marketing and PR initiatives across Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Spa/Retail channels, including digital and print promotions, email campaigns, social media, and public relations activities.
  • Manage website content by performing monthly audits, updating information with department heads, and ensuring accuracy of copy and imagery.
  • Oversee media planning and advertising execution in collaboration with the Corporate Digital Marketing Manager to optimize SEO, PPC, and web analytics efforts.
  • Coordinate with external PR agencies, vendors, and local influencers, as well as manage relationships with existing marketing partners to drive revenue and brand visibility.
  • Support the Director of Sales & Marketing by handling inquiries, attending meetings, assisting with budget analysis, and tracking campaign performance.
  • Plan, promote, and coordinate special events, direct mail campaigns, email newsletters, and other marketing communications to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador by representing the hotel at industry and community functions while maintaining brand equity.

Required Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent education; Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Experience Required: 2-5 years’ experience in marketing, advertising, branding, public relations, social media strategy and execution.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Opera.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with food and beverage operations, including menu knowledge and presentation techniques.
  • Exceptional organizational, supervisory, and sales-related skills along with basic computational abilities.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including sitting, walking, and standing for extended periods, as well as travel to meetings.
