Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Support and advocate for TAA's Mission, Vision, Guiding Principles and act as a champion and role-model of TAA's Cultural Fundamentals.
- Create content for use in all aspects of the TAA advertising program in conjunction with outside vendors.
- Execute delivery of marketing content to the appropriate channels for use.
- Assist in the execution of deliverables related to key business partnerships in the local community.
- Manage the customer-facing content of the TAA website.
- Execute promotions designed to increase usage of TUS.
- Provide assistance in executing other public-facing projects at TUS that involve the TAA brand image.
- Monitor, respond, and generate content for the TAA's social media channels.
- Write, edit, garner approval for, and appropriately disseminate information about TAA, TUS, and RYN to a variety of audiences across multiple platforms.
- Write public-facing newsletters and communications to the TAA Board of Directors and Membership.
- Model the organization's Guiding Principles and Cultural Fundamentals by demonstrating high performance and exceptional customer service.
- Act as one of TAA's Public Information Officers during daily operations and in response to an emergency incident or event.
- Be responsive to airport emergencies and situations that may involve loss of human life or property.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, English or other closely related fields.
- A minimum of four years' experience in marketing, media, or public relations.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and supporting tracking applications.
- General understanding of branding and maintaining brand standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Adobe Creative Suite, and email marketing software.
- Knowledge of Federal, State, County and City laws, FAR Part 139, TSA 1542, and other regulations governing the operation of the TAA airports.
Preferred Qualifications
- Principles of business management, airport management, and administration preferred.
