Position Overview
Informa Markets, a division within Informa, creates global platforms through large-scale events and year‐round online experiences. Under our brand New Hope Network, we connect professionals in the natural and organic products industry. We’re seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive new business and nurture existing relationships by identifying high‐potential leads and supporting strategic outreach. This role is based in Phoenix, AZ. Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000 annually plus commission.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify high-potential leads through various channels, including online research, social media, and market intelligence
- Qualify and engage inbound prospects efficiently to advance them through the sales pipeline
- Reconnect with past clients who have become inactive, creating opportunities to rebuild valuable relationships
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of qualified leads and prospects for targeted outreach
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to implement innovative lead generation strategies that deliver measurable results
- Analyze lead generation performance and client re-engagement metrics, providing actionable insights to improve effectiveness
- Stay current on industry developments and market trends to ensure our outreach strategies remain relevant and competitive
- Manage multiple priorities effectively, ensuring timely follow-ups and meeting deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or related roles within the natural products, wellness, or sustainability sectors
- Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with health-conscious brands, retailers, and industry stakeholders
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced natural products marketplace
- Demonstrated interest in natural, organic, and sustainable products with an understanding of industry trends and consumer preferences
- Analytical mindset to identify opportunities within the evolving natural products ecosystem
- Proficiency with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms to track and nurture prospect relationships
- Self-motivated and collaborative with a focus on promoting healthier products and practices
- Ability to translate complex product benefits into compelling value propositions for potential clients
- Commitment to continuous learning about emerging ingredients, sustainability practices, and wellness innovations
- Passion for contributing to the growth of businesses that prioritize health, sustainability, and ethical practices
