Entry Level Accountant

Position Overview

Our client, a leading distribution and commercial service organization, is seeking an Entry-Level Accountant to join their Accounting team. In this role, you will compile and analyze financial information, manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, and support the preparation of financial statements. This position is ideal for recent accounting or finance graduates ready to launch their careers in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
• Handle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Analyze financial data detailing assets, liabilities, and capital.
• Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected financial positions.
• Prepare reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to the monthly close process.
• Establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting control procedures.

Required Qualifications

• BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 0-1 years of General Accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
