Position Overview

Happy Global is a fast-paced, dynamic, wholesale food distributor based in the United States. Our Distribution Channel team is searching for a proactive and result-oriented Field Sales professional who consistently exceeds expectations, thrives in a challenging workplace, and actively contributes to our talented team. To be successful in this role you will have superior communication and organizational skills. Operating in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment, you will work autonomously taking full control and responsibility for hitting business objectives. This role provides opportunities to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions in a competitive and ever-changing business climate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit new stores for new customers and maintain the company's existing customer relationship.
  • Evaluate customers' needs and build long-lasting client relationships.
  • Be available for on-call assignments from customers and team members.
  • Travel throughout the territory and visit customers on a recurring basis.
  • Manage your client database within your assigned territory.
  • Document, report, and provide feedback to management for customer interactions and maintain data related to activities, accounts, and partners.
  • Establish sales objectives by projecting expected sales volume, forecasting, and developing sales quotas for territories and the region.
  • Develop field sales action plans to facilitate the implementation of the sales programs and update managers with program status through regular meetings or timely write-ups.
  • Recommend service and product enhancements to improve sales potential and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the brand during all customer and prospect interactions.
  • Monitor industry competitors, new products, and market conditions.
  • Undergo 2-4 weeks of training in the warehouse to learn about various products, labels, pricing, and systems.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of relevant business sales experience.
  • Deep understanding and passion for e-commerce is required.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of prior experience influencing sellers, importers, or distributors.
  • Proven ability to navigate a fast-paced environment with ambiguity, similar to a startup setting.
  • A hands-on approach to learning and building from scratch.
  • Ability to quickly identify insights and establish SOPs and mechanisms independently.
  • Proven record of driving end-to-end sales and account management while effectively addressing customer issues.
  • A proactive approach in solving customer pain points.
  • Experience with outbound sales, cold calling, and pipeline management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • An extensive customer network.

Compensation Package

  • Pay: From $4,000.00 per month
  • Commission pay
  • Quarterly bonus
