Job Description

Position Overview

Our client, one of the oldest and most prominent Architectural firms in the country, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support their projects and clients. You'll have the opportunity to work on unique and exciting projects from across the country. Compensation: $90/k - $150/k.

Key Responsibilities

  • In-charge project leadership, including management of the electrical engineering team
  • Designing power distribution, lighting, control, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems
  • Developing project electrical systems scope in conjunction with clients
  • Collaborating with other technical disciplines to integrate electrical systems into building designs
  • Preparing engineering studies including written reports and oral presentations
  • Presenting technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Guiding junior engineers and reviewing their work to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards
  • Developing specifications

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the United States
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the A/E industry
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 70
  • Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience with lighting software (i.e., Visual Lighting, AGi32)
  • Experience with short circuit and coordination software is a plus
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Professional demeanor and understanding of workplace conduct
  • Ability and willingness to travel
