Job Description
Position Overview
Our client, one of the oldest and most prominent Architectural firms in the country, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support their projects and clients. You'll have the opportunity to work on unique and exciting projects from across the country. Compensation: $90/k - $150/k.
Key Responsibilities
- In-charge project leadership, including management of the electrical engineering team
- Designing power distribution, lighting, control, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems
- Developing project electrical systems scope in conjunction with clients
- Collaborating with other technical disciplines to integrate electrical systems into building designs
- Preparing engineering studies including written reports and oral presentations
- Presenting technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Guiding junior engineers and reviewing their work to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards
- Developing specifications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the United States
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the A/E industry
- Working knowledge of NFPA 70
- Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office programs
- Experience with lighting software (i.e., Visual Lighting, AGi32)
- Experience with short circuit and coordination software is a plus
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor and understanding of workplace conduct
- Ability and willingness to travel
