Position Overview

Texas McCombs is a renowned business school at the heart of one of the U.S.’s most innovative cities. In this role as Recruiting Operations Manager, you will manage on-campus recruiting efforts by guiding employers on recruiting tactics, coordinating interview schedules and events, and ensuring a smooth, first‐class recruiting experience for both employers and students.

Key Responsibilities

  • ASSIST EMPLOYERS WITH RECRUITING TACTICS: Advise employers on event timing, interview types, and provide feedback to enhance recruiting outcomes while managing schedule conflicts.
  • COLLABORATE FOR OPTIMAL OUTCOMES: Work closely with Texas McCombs program partners and internal teams to optimize the interview process and maintain accurate recruiting databases.
  • FACILITATE RECRUITING PROCESS: Coordinate recruiting schedules, employer events, and job postings using specialized management software and data tools, ensuring legitimacy and success.
  • INTERVIEW CENTER OPERATIONS: Assist with on-campus interview center tasks including front desk coverage and opening/closing responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and six years of experience in account management, customer service, career services, event planning, recruiting, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with new technology.
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively manage a high volume of work in a professional business environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, or management.
  • Experience in a career services or human resources role performing corporate recruiting or career placement activities.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective rapport with business students, alumni, faculty, staff, and recruiters.
  • Familiarity with web-based recruiting management systems.

Benefits & Perks

  • Compensation: $50,000
  • Retirement Plan: Eligibility for the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (subject to position requirements).
  • Standard Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm (with some evening/weekend hours as needed).
  • Location: UT MAIN CAMPUS
