The ERP and MRP Applications Manager oversees the implementation and operational support of Supply Chain and Operations functionality across the ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and support for ERP Supply Chain and Operations capabilities, ensuring system stability and performance.
  • Lead and manage the Supply Chain and Operations workstreams for a large SAP implementation project, including planning, execution, and post-implementation support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor and manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the ERP support team, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate with ERP development resources to ensure technical and coding tasks align with overarching solution design.
  • Monitor and report progress on support incidents and tasks, including identification of schedule or technical risks and corresponding mitigation plans.
  • Ensure the integrity and consistency of data across integrated ERP systems through effective data governance and quality management.
  • Work with management and business units to understand release priorities, resource allocation, and scheduling.
  • Oversee all aspects of vendor management for ERP Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) applications.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years’ experience leading global initiatives; Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of prior related experience is required.
  • Experience Required: Minimum of 12 years of experience in ERP system utilization and operational leadership, with a proven track record of successful system implementations and support.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skill set, with the ability to interface and form strong business partnerships with various leadership stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to present complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in developing technical solutions to complex problems and driving their implementation.
  • Strong technical background in business operations, tools, and processes.
  • Experience working within ERP applications with an emphasis on operations and supply chain.
  • Exposure to project management methodologies, including waterfall and Agile.
  • Strong understanding of operations and supply chain business processes and system functionality in ERP systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective ERP solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and ERP best practices.
  • Proven track record of technical and thought leadership for large-scale implementation projects, preferably within major ERP systems such as SAP, Infor LN, Deltek Costpoint, or Cincom Control.
  • In-depth understanding of ERP systems and their capabilities, specifically within MRP solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with business users, IT teams, and external vendors.
  • Demonstrated technical experience in supporting resource planning, task estimating, and mentoring junior resources for adherence to support and design best practices.
