The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of data processing systems and pipelines. They work with large amounts of data to ensure it is properly stored, accessed, and efficiently used. By automating data-related tasks, the BI Developer enables business intelligence analysts to focus on creating actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for data acquisition.
• Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability.
• Build and maintain ETL and data pipelines.
• Combine, process, and integrate raw information from various sources and systems.
• Optimize data delivery and presentation of Power BI reports for other departments.
• Develop tools and software to support data storage, analysis, automation, and management.
• Perform data warehousing responsibilities including documenting and testing processes, monitoring workloads, ensuring security, and contributing to the design and maintenance of the data warehouse.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Visual Studio, Microsoft SSIS, and Power BI.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• Experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, Java, or C#.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Experience working with various data formats including JSON and CSV.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and excel in a fast-paced, changing environment.
