Join dbt Labs as a Lead Software Engineer II! At dbt Labs, we are the pioneers of analytics engineering, empowering data teams to transform raw data into actionable insights. In this role, you will have the autonomy to tackle entire segments of the product and rapidly implement your ideas. If you excel at seeing the broader picture while focusing on details and moving swiftly like a startup founder, you will fit perfectly with our team. We are currently developing a new VSCode extension that will empower developers across numerous teams.

Required Qualifications
- A proven history of developing and launching full-stack products that significantly improve customer outcomes.
- A proactive, startup-like attitude—ready to ship, learn, and iterate.
- Strong skills in full-stack development (React/TypeScript, Node/Python, SQL) with ownership of the entire flow.
- Experience working asynchronously within a fully remote team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with dbt in a production environment.
- Experience in product-led growth (PLG) settings.
- Side projects, contributions to open source, or personal projects that showcase your passion for building beyond official work.

- Compensation: Competitive compensation packages including salary, equity, and performance-based incentives. Typical range: $172,000 - $207,900 USD; in select locations: $191,000 - $231,000 USD.
