Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Director – Technology Procurement and Supply Chain to lead our global procurement and category management functions for Technology across Software, Hardware, and Network spend. This leader will manage a team of approximately 40 professionals while driving supplier strategy, category planning, and commercial governance across a complex and dynamic technology supply chain. You will act as a commercial engine for the company, partnering with sales teams to enable revenue‐generating deals while safeguarding our bottom line against major technology partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy for Software, Hardware, and Network spend.
- Provide technical leadership to guide the team in data-driven decision-making and shift from reactive buying to proactive ecosystem mapping.
- Lead complex renewals and disputes with Tier-1 strategic partners including Microsoft, AWS, Dell, Oracle, and Cisco, managing critical licensing structures.
- Oversee governance for 280+ managed suppliers and resolve issues such as invoice blocking, credit guarantee challenges, and overcharging disputes.
- Drive supplier innovation for enhanced business capabilities in AI sourcing and cloud transformation, and serve as the SOX control owner for Minimum Purchase Commitment management.
- Partner with sales and solutioning teams to act as a "pricing engine" for competitive and profitable client-facing deals.
- Build trust with internal finance leaders and maintain strong alliances with Legal and Risk Management teams.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a globally distributed team of approximately 40 professionals, identifying and grooming high-potential talent.
- Drive data and tooling transformation by cleaning commodity code structures and optimizing the tech stack (SAP, Ariba, Sirion Labs) to improve data integrity and reporting.
- Perform supplier data analysis to manage performance and adjust strategy with a data-driven approach.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology procurement or supply chain leadership managing multi-billion dollar spend portfolios.
- Strong technical fluency with the IT ecosystem (Cloud, AI, Licensing models) to guide teams with limited analytics capabilities.
- Proven experience in complex negotiations and managing challenging vendor relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or technology (MBA preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in outsourcing, managed services, or strategic technology partnerships.
- Knowledge of emerging trends in technology sourcing, cloud computing, and digital transformation.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma, ITIL, or similar process improvement methodologies.

- Compensation Range: $143,800 - $298,800.
