Position Overview

The United States Postal Service (USPS) is a trusted and essential organization committed to delivering mail and packages nationwide. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide entry‐level administrative support to enhance productivity and organization. You will assist internal teams with managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and performing general office duties, all while upholding USPS’s high standards of service and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Prepare and maintain records, reports, and files
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Assist in tracking deadlines and project progress
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform general office duties such as copying, filing, and data entry

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred (no degree required)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous administrative or clerical experience
  • Familiarity with USPS processes and procedures
