Entry Level Automotive Technician - PT

Position Overview

Immediately hiring! We're looking for responsible, detail‐oriented people who are as passionate about cars as we are. Join our Avis Budget Group enterprise in South San Francisco, California, United States of America. Compensation: $33.00/Hour, Retention Bonus: up to $1,000, and Shift Premium: may apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance functions and light repairs on our auto fleet (oil and fluid changes, tire changes, rotations, and basic repairs).
• Assist experienced auto mechanics as needed based on your experience.
• Follow safety procedures and work practices at all times.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License
• At least 6 months of auto maintenance experience or willingness to learn (ability to obtain 1 ASE certificate within the first year)
• Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise levels
• Basic computer skills including typing and data entry
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks (stand, bend, reach, walk, sit, kneel) frequently
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Regular on-site presence required; remote work is not permitted

Preferred Qualifications

• Auto tech school degree or additional auto maintenance experience is a bonus!
