Entry Level Civil/Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview

D&B Engineers and Architects is hiring an Entry Level Civil/Mechanical Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team of experienced engineers, architects, scientists, and other professionals in a friendly, dynamic, and fast-paced environment.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 hour shift.

Salary Range/Compensation: $55,000 – $65,000.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform design, computations, and evaluations associated with municipal water/wastewater and other municipal engineering projects.
• Write reports and specifications, gather information, draft correspondence, and complete progress reports.
• Engage in client interaction and collaborate with other disciplines.
• Coordinate permitting efforts with various local regulatory agencies.

Required Qualifications

• At least a B.S. degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering.
• 0 – 3 years of design experience.
• Willingness and ability to complete field activities is a plus.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office; AutoCAD is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn.
• Licenses: FE/EIT certification is a plus but not required.
