Corporate Financial Analyst, Investor Relations - Hybrid (Dallas, TX or Denver, CO)

Position Overview
AECOM is seeking an analyst to support our Finance and Investor Relations team in either Dallas, TX or Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial valuation and communication skills to support investor outreach, quarterly reporting, and strategic initiatives within our Corporate Finance and Investor Relations Department. Working closely with enterprise Finance Planning & Analysis, Controllership/Accounting, and Financial Communications teams, as well as internal finance and business partners, the analyst will help deliver on key financial objectives and investor communications. Responsibilities include preparing quarterly earnings calls and presentation materials, tracking and monitoring sell-side financial models and consensus estimates, developing a working knowledge of the peer group, and contributing to regulatory filings and board presentations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain an active dialogue with key internal finance and business leads to support the department’s analysis efforts.
- Provide support preparing quarterly earnings calls and presentation materials.
- Support the department’s ongoing shareholder outreach and relationship management efforts.
- Track and monitor sell-side financial models and consensus estimates.
- Work closely with communications and other involved parties to develop a clear and concise message to investors and analysts.
- Develop a working knowledge of the peer group and provide insightful analysis on industry trends.
- Contribute content to quarterly regulatory filings and board presentations.
- Work with third-party vendors to manage the company's investor relations website, conference calls and transcripts, and investor data.
- Provide finance support for all new and ongoing departmental strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business management, or a related field; plus at least 2 years of relevant experience in investor relations, finance, accounting, strategy, treasury, investment banking, or similar, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Previous experience with financial modeling and/or analyzing financials.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with similarly large, complex, global organizations, particularly publicly-traded companies.
- Interest in the Architectural, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry and the vital role that infrastructure projects play in developing the built environment.
- Experience with financial valuation and financial reconciliation of publicly-traded companies.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, or CapIQ.
