Position Overview
As a Sales Associate at GNC, you will play a key role in delivering a personalized shopping experience while embodying our Live Well philosophy. You’ll leverage your passion for health and wellness to understand customers’ needs, educate them on our trusted range of products, and contribute to a welcoming store environment that prioritizes excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively greet and welcome every customer, creating an inviting environment.
- Interact genuinely with customers to recommend products based on their needs and your in-depth product knowledge.
- Achieve and exceed store and personal sales and productivity goals.
- Fulfill online orders accurately and in compliance with company guidelines.
- Maintain visual merchandising, restock products, and perform cleaning duties to support store presentation.
- Support store management during opening, closing, and daily operations, including cash handling and inventory procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
- Capable of performing repetitive tasks including bending, twisting, and reaching; lifting up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 40 lbs.
- Flexibility to work varied hours—including mornings, nights, weekends, and key peak business days/holidays.
- Comfort working in environments with temperatures ranging from 50°F to 85°F and performing physical tasks such as climbing ladders and repetitive hand-to-finger motions.
