Position Overview
Amazon’s Fashion Marketing team is seeking a highly organized, creative, and self-directed Social Media Manager to define, manage, and scale content strategy across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. In this role you will activate innovative campaigns, gather evolving channel insights to inform creative strategy, and define measurable KPIs to optimize performance. You will collaborate with internal creative, marketing, and influencer teams, as well as external agencies, to elevate brand perception and drive business goals. This role demands strong ownership, strategic thinking, and clear communication across all leadership levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently creates and executes measurable strategies with clear KPIs for brand perception, driving product discovery, and purchase consideration via social media channels and partnerships.
- Maintains a deep understanding of social media metrics and manages data touchpoints.
- Regularly presents strategy, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Develops, owns, and executes goals and performance metrics for social handles, reporting on performance on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Identifies emerging channel trends, partnering with creative, paid social, and marketing teams (and external agencies) to define and execute innovative experiments.
- Improves processes through documentation and Standard Operating Procedures for social listening, content publishing, and channel partnerships.
- Coordinates with the content team to ensure social media tactics align with overall strategy and goals.
- Manages external agencies and leads campaign strategy to deliver innovative, best-in-class campaigns.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience in influencer management, social strategy, social media management, and/or social media planning.
- Passion for social media and a strong understanding of its business impact.
- Experience in the fashion and retail industry.
- Experience working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams.
- Experience managing and negotiating media and content contracts.
- Understanding of the creative development process and media planning.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Word.
Preferred Qualifications
- An MBA or other advanced degree, preferably in business or marketing.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality social media campaigns in dynamic environments.
- 6+ years of progressive responsibility in social media marketing and brand advertising.
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to develop and measure marketing programs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others.
- Ability to partner cross-functionally and work with a wide range of stakeholders.
