Entry-Level Software Engineer

Position Overview

The Entry-Level Software Engineer at KBR will be responsible for developing and maintaining software for NASA's Johnson Space Center Mission Control Center. This role involves working in a team environment to design, code, test, document, and provide user support for software applications related to space missions. The position may require some after-hours support, including weekends, to ensure software functionality and user assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software for NASA's Johnson Space Center Mission Control Center.
• Design, code, test, and document software applications.
• Provide user support after the release of the software.
• Collaborate with team members in a software development environment.

Required Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with C and C++ programming languages.
• Familiarity with UNIX or Linux operating systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Object Oriented programming.
• Knowledge of software development using agile practices.
• Experience with Java programming language.
