Job Description

Position Overview

The Baltimore Orioles is seeking Street Team Members to assist with event execution at ballpark and off-site grassroots marketing events and activations. Reporting to the Manager of Brand Activations within the Marketing Department, candidates will represent the brand at Camden Yards and community events. This is a Part-time, Hourly position based in Baltimore, MD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of activation equipment including sound equipment, tables, tents, decorations, prizes, games, etc. at ballpark or community grassroots events.
  • Manage the "tent & table" activations at grassroots events by interacting with fans, distributing giveaways, and running on-site games and sweepstakes.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to execute ballpark events and special ticket package distributions (e.g., Kids' Opening Day, Pride Night, Bark at Oriole Park, Heritage Nights, Fan Appreciation Weekend).
  • Execute off-site Orioles grassroots events, rallies, watch parties, school assemblies, mascot appearances, and other Street Team activations.
  • Contribute to brainstorms and meetings to enhance brand activations and grassroots marketing efforts.
  • Positively represent and promote the Baltimore Orioles brand at Camden Yards and external events, conventions, and festivals.
  • Undertake various event-related responsibilities as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under the company's insurance policy.
  • College students currently pursuing a degree in Sport Marketing, Sport Management, Events & Hospitality, or Marketing are preferred.
  • Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work long hours on nights and weekends for grassroots events and Orioles home games.
  • Must be able to work for at least 5-10 hours per week.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
