Position Overview

Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our customer in Dallas, TX. Location: Dallas, TX. Salary: $22.00/hr. Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00am-3:30pm (every other Friday off). This position is Temp to Direct.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly and rework.
- Test and repair various electronic products and mechanical assemblies.
- Work from complex wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications, sketches, and running sheets of significant complexity.
- Provide routine technical support to engineers and scientists on standard components, devices, materials, products, processes and/or equipment.
- Test, modify, rework, repair, and build electronic, optical, or mechanical assemblies.
- Design and/or test prototype assemblies and production units.
- Interpret and follow documents such as SOPs and safety rules.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements in accordance with State and Federal regulations and applicable certifications.
- Interface with other departments to assure efficient flow of information and materials.
- Meet production deadlines and check quality of finished products (pass/fail rates).
- Coordinate several activities simultaneously and adjust priorities in response to changing operational conditions.
- Read and potentially develop wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering specifications for system or equipment modifications or expansion, while directing personnel in routine installation and maintenance duties.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma
- Experience Required: 1 year manufacturing experience; 1 year demonstrating fine motor skills; 6 months working in a Clean Room environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with semiconductor manufacturing.
- Experience in a Clean Room environment.
- Strong decision-making and leadership skills.
- Experience handling small, delicate components.
- Experience with bonding and soldering small components.
- Experience handling safe chemicals.
