Medical Debt Collector

Position Overview

As a Medical Debt Collector (Remote) for RSi—a leading revenue cycle management service provider with over 20 years of excellence—you will be responsible for the recovery of medical debt while upholding the highest standards of customer service, professionalism, and integrity. You will ensure proper management of assigned inventory and comply with all relevant policies, procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the recovery of medical debt while maintaining quality customer service, professionalism, and integrity.
• Ensures the quality, integrity, and proper work effort of assigned inventory.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintains acceptable levels of productivity for all assigned accounts.
• Engages in continuous call activities on an auto dialer during an 8-hour shift.
• Documents all collection activity, organizes account information, and responds to communications from relevant parties.
• Strives for maximum productivity in recovering delinquent accounts.

Required Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with a documented typing speed of at least 30 WPM.
• Ability to respond promptly and accurately to both verbal and written communications.
• Capable of working for prolonged periods at a desk on a computer.
• Must be able to work in an office environment for 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds when necessary.
