Position Summary: The Channel Account Executive is responsible for the development, execution, and ongoing management of programs with ISC2 Official Training Providers and prospective partners. Building positive relationships to maximize sales within the existing partner base while prospecting for new partners is essential. This role reports to the Sr Sales Manager, Academic, Govt. and Channel and collaborates closely with education, marketing, and finance departments.
This position is not available to residents of California.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit new partners for sales growth and manage existing partners.
- Coordinate with partners to identify key sales opportunities to generate revenue.
- Enable channel partners through training on the business value and ROI of ISC2 products.
- Collaborate with ISC2 marketing teams to develop, implement, and manage marketing and call campaign programs.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction with current partners and ensure tasks are completed successfully.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to influential decision makers within current and potential channel and academic partners.
- Recruit and enable focused channel partners in verticals and markets not currently serviced.
- Deliver quarterly reports to management.
- Manage daily sales activities with partners to achieve revenue growth.
- Develop partner-specific sales and marketing plans to boost efforts.
- Submit monthly forecasting reports to management.
- Oversee fiscal responsibilities regarding expense management.
- Ensure effective communication between ISC2 and channel partners.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of ISC2 certification, training programs, and supporting products.
- Maintain accurate sales records and reports.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of the cybersecurity certification market.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with channel partners and internal teams.
- Superior organizational and planning skills with excellent written and oral/presentation abilities.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; or a high school diploma with seven (7) years of relevant work experience.
- Previous experience in the IT training industry using consultative selling techniques.
- Minimum of five (5) years of account management experience.
- Salesforce experience is preferred.
- Experience working in a channel with cybersecurity providers is preferred.
