Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $13.00 per hour

Schedule: No less than 24 per week

Education: High school or equivalent (Required)

Location: Las Vegas, NV (In person)

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in a friendly manner.
  • Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions.
  • Perform print and design tasks using MS Office and MS Publisher.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product demos and effective communication.
  • Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions by answering questions and providing recommendations.
  • Process transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing.
  • Maintain stock levels by organising merchandise on the sales floor and replenishing inventory as needed.
  • Ensure the store is clean, organised, and visually appealing to enhance the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and promote store promotions.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
  • Experience with cash handling is a plus.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances customer interaction.
  • A passion for sales and a desire to learn about products to better serve customers is essential.
  • Proactive and able to identify tasks without waiting for instructions.
  • Excellent mental mathematics skills to perform quick calculations without devices.
  • Strong customer service skills to manage customer interactions professionally and courteously.
  • Ability to handle packages and lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Ability to answer phones in a polite and courteous manner.
  • Basic filing skills to organise documents and file paperwork.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft applications including MS Word, Publisher, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to preview, edit, create, and print documents using printing services.
  • Demonstrated discipline by showing up on time and adhering to organisational protocols.
