Sr. Structural Engineer

Position Overview

Sr. Structural Engineer position available in Indianapolis, IN as a Direct hire opportunity. Location: Indianapolis, IN. Compensation: 110-140K. Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, Holiday pay.

Key Responsibilities

• Design new construction and renovation projects from concept through construction under the direction of a Senior Engineer.
• Coordinate with other Engineering Disciplines and Architects.
• Observe on-site construction.
• Review Construction Contractor questions and submittals.
• Review cost estimates for proposed construction projects.
• Manage a workload consisting of 10+ projects at a time, all at various stages of completion.
• Prepare and present Structural Engineering presentations to both internal and external parties.
• Coordinate structural engineering activities within a multi-disciplinary project team.
• Experience with cast-in-place and precast concrete, steel framing, wood structures.
• Experience with shop drawings and RFI review.
• Experience with preparing and reviewing cost estimates.
• Strong knowledge of multiple building codes.
• Strong experience working in Revit.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Master's Degree (or foreign educational equivalent) in Structural Engineering or a closely related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in a Structural Engineering related role.
• Professional Licensure, preferably in multiple states or ability to be licensed in multiple states.
