Role and Responsibilities:
The Logistics Auditor is responsible for monitoring and verifying warehouse operations to ensure they run effectively and align with established company policies and safety standards. The key tasks in this role involve conducting inventory audits, ensuring compliance, and reporting any discrepancies. Primary duties include:
- Conducting regular audits to check the accuracy of inventory and identify any issues.
- Reviewing warehouse systems and procedures to ensure they meet company standards and safety protocols.
- Recording audit findings carefully and communicating discrepancies to management for corrective actions.
- Ensuring that inventory movements and stock levels are documented accurately.
- Collaborating with warehouse teams to resolve inventory-related issues and implement necessary corrective steps.
- Offering suggestions to improve inventory accuracy, warehouse safety, and operational processes based on audit insights.
- Assisting in training warehouse staff on inventory management practices and audit procedures.
- Supporting the development and upkeep of audit procedures and related reports.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for identifying discrepancies in inventory and warehouse processes.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team to resolve issues and improve warehouse operations.
- Basic understanding of inventory control systems and general warehouse operations.
- Effective communication skills to document audit results and report discrepancies clearly to management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse auditing or inventory control.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or other inventory tracking tools.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety compliance and applicable regulatory requirements.
