Entry Level Marketing Representative

Position Overview

Weed Man, North America’s largest lawn care company, is recruiting full-time, entry-level marketing representatives/outside lead generators. Enjoy working outdoors, interacting with customers, and joining a supportive team. We offer a guaranteed hourly wage of $19/h + sales commission (current representatives average $22–$27/h), along with paid training and a clear career path for advancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Marketing and Promotions (October to April):
  • Work Monday to Friday (10:00 am to 6:00 pm) and Saturdays as required.
  • Travel to various residential neighborhoods with the Marketing and Promotion Team.
  • Conduct outdoor lead generation by introducing Weed Man services to homeowners.
  • No selling is involved—simply ask if customers are interested in a free lawn care quote; obtaining a signed authorization form counts as a lead.
• Lawn Care Technician Role (April to October):
  • If interested, transition into a full-time lawn care technician role.
  • Apply products to customers’ lawns with working hours from 6:30 am to approximately 4:30 pm.

Required Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive mindset with a can-do attitude.
• Physically fit with the ability to walk extensively in winter conditions.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Availability to work on Saturdays as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Holding a driver's license is considered an asset.
• Experience or interest in fields such as landscaping, agronomics/horticulture, general labour, customer service, lawn/garden maintenance, forestry/arboriculture, lead generation/marketing, professional driving, or sales.
