Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular audits of Novant Health's processes, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
- Identify areas of potential risk and non-compliance and make recommendations for corrective action.
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulations and mitigate risk.
- Stay up-to-date with all relevant healthcare regulations and laws, including HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid.
- Train and educate employees on compliance standards, regulations, and policies.
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues and complaints, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement compliance initiatives and processes.
- Monitor and report on compliance metrics and trends to senior leadership.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance issues and provide guidance and support to other departments and team members.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and work with leadership to develop strategies for managing and mitigating potential compliance risks.
