As an Electrical Engineer II in our Baltimore office, you will work on a variety of electrical systems projects including generation technologies such as reciprocating engines, combustion turbines, combined heat & power (CHP), solar energy, and energy storage systems. This role can be executed remotely with travel to client sites and office meetings as needed.

Location: Baltimore (with remote flexibility and required travel)

Salary: $70,000 - $110,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Exercise independent judgment to develop and document system designs based on concept plans and technical design criteria.
  • Design electrical systems for facilities utilizing various generation technologies, including reciprocating engines, combustion turbines, CHP, solar energy, and energy storage systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and travel to client sites as required to ensure design compliance and client satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: BSEE or BSAE required
  • Experience Required: 5+ years of electrical engineering experience
  • Qualifications: PE License or ability to become licensed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Qualifications: Expertise in operating engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred
  • Effective spoken and written communications skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Quick technical comprehension with a focus on client outcomes
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
