Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit the daily guest ledger and handle all end-of-day accounting functions, including posting daily room rates and room tax.
  • Ensure accuracy of all charges to guest folios and average the sum of revenues from food, room, and other departments.
  • Act as a front desk clerk by checking guests in/out, booking reservations, and resolving guest issues.
  • Perform cash drops in accordance with proper cash handling procedures.
  • Organize the Front Desk area to prepare the A.M. staff for their shift.
  • Monitor the hotel security camera system and ensure the lobby is well-maintained, properly lit, and set to appropriate music volume.
  • Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed and perform any other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Accounting or as a Night Auditor.
  • Knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS).
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Team player with the aptitude to exceed guest expectations.
  • Basic accounting and math skills.
