Key Responsibilities

• Assist in providing exceptional care to patients in the Telemetry unit.
• Perform a variety of patient care tasks, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, and administering medications.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
• Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
• Assist with transporting patients to various areas within the hospital.
• Be knowledgeable and able to troubleshoot medical equipment.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain knowledge and skills.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Handle confidential information with discretion.
• Follow all hospital policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude at all times.
• Report any changes in patient condition to the nurse in charge.
• Attend and participate in team meetings and huddles.
• Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and growth.
