Position Overview

In this role, you will lead a team to execute purchasing and logistics strategies that support business objectives by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products. You will showcase your expertise by implementing effective sourcing strategies in line with the overall business strategy, ensuring that suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future requirements. You will be working onsite in Bartlesville, OK, contributing to the Process Automation, Measurement and Analytics division.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure relevant parties understand strategies and execute processes accordingly while aligning local procurement activities with division strategy.
- Implement programs to drive improvements in cost, quality, and delivery in accordance with global division and business area objectives.
- Secure full utilization of the SAP Ariba platform following established procedures to share supplier information and identify high-performing suppliers.
- Manage planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, emerging country spending, and savings forecasts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related disciplines.
- 10+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management in global, complex companies, preferably within direct material and industries such as industrial automation, automotive, or aerospace.
- Very good understanding of regulations and the geopolitical environment.
- Highly proactive, results-driven with a strategic approach to decision-making from a global perspective. Change management experience is a distinct plus.
- Experience in highly international and multi-cultural environments.
- Knowledge of contractual law and regulations, international trade, and global/local as well as regional code standards.
- Possess a thorough understanding of SAP.
