Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the sterile processing department, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain the highest level of quality and safety for all sterilized equipment and instruments.
• Train and supervise a team of sterile processing technicians, providing guidance and support.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of sterile equipment and instruments for patient care.
• Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies to ensure an adequate stock of sterile equipment and instruments.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Keep up to date with new developments and advancements in sterile processing techniques and equipment.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Create and maintain reports detailing department performance and identifying areas for improvement.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among staff members.
