Software Engineer (Python)

Position Overview

At Rave we build the platform (SDK + hosted service) used by top mobile game publishers to create socially engaging mobile games. We are a bootstrapped, profitable company serving over 100,000,000 users with a small, nimble team that makes a big impact. We are looking for an awesome backend engineer to extend our back-end system architecture, develop scalable services for tens of millions of users, and help grow our backend engineering team.

• Experience with Python.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing systems with horizontally scalable data stores.
• Expertise in creating fault-tolerant systems that ease deployment challenges.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing REST APIs.
• Familiarity with a *nix environment.
• Experience with Flask (preferred), Pyramid, or similar web frameworks.
• Knowledge of MySQL and Python ORMs such as SQLAlchemy.
• Experience writing effective unit and functional tests for rapid iteration.
