Job Description

Position Overview

We’re building the Nike Basketball brand and inviting consumers into our stores to be inspired. We’re seeking a collaborative and creative retail marketer who will drive brand love, business impact, and sport inspiration across North America. In this role as Retail Specialist II, you will help plan and execute Basketball product launches, amplify sport moments, and ensure retail excellence. You will report to the Sport Retail Brand Director and work closely with various cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute Basketball product launches and amplify sport moments across North America.
  • Develop and communicate retail marketing plans, briefs, and project tracking tools.
  • Coordinate seasonal product ordering, event logistics, and agency/project operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Visual Merchandising, Retail Marketing Creative, Brand Management, Digital Marketing, Store Business, Sports Marketing, Merchants, and Product teams, as well as external agency partners.
  • Ensure foundational retail excellence and drive measurable business impact.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience and training.
  • 2+ years of marketing or retail experience in dynamic environments.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Passion for marketing, product, and storytelling with acute attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented mindset with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a strong desire to learn and take risks.
  • Enthusiasm for sport, the athlete, and the culture of sport.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
