Data Scientist (Active Clearance Required)

Position Overview

One Federal Solution is seeking a Data Scientist to support a federal program. The Data Scientist will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning models, performing statistical analysis, and collaborating with internal teams to deploy data solutions. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise in data science and machine learning, as well as strong communication skills to support collaboration with stakeholders. This position requires an Active Secret clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement machine learning models, including large language models
• Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and validate findings
• Collaborate with data engineers to deploy models into production
• Work with data analysts and data visualization specialists to communicate findings
• Coordinate with stakeholders to understand available data and business needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance
• Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. (Bootcamp or certifications may be considered in combination with other degrees)
• 3+ years of experience in data science or machine learning
• Strong proficiency in statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms (preference for experience with sampling techniques and large language models)
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages (experience with cloud computing platforms such as Azure is preferred)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
