Position Overview

The Senior Marketing Manager, Global Running will lead the strategic implementation of the Running Community Strategy, developing a global playbook for community engagement and driving NB’s positioning within running culture. Reporting to the Global Running marketing team, this role partners across departments to execute best-in-class go-to-market strategies and deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead long-term, overarching global community strategy for Running.
- Provide visible leadership across the organization as the go-to expert for New Balance Running Community, including run clubs and events.
- Partner closely with teams in Boston and internationally, including Sports Marketing, PR, Global Media, and Owned Retail.
- Build meaningful relationships with Running Ambassadors for formal partnerships and campaign amplification.
- Collaborate with visual merchandising, retail marketing, and regional teams to activate the New Balance Running vision in both e-commerce and brick-and-mortar environments.
- Oversee annual calendar, brand, channel strategy, and execution with high-level decision-making authority.
- Manage and develop the Running Community team.
- Create and execute individual multi-year activation plans for Global Running Ambassadors.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant marketing experience.
- Significant knowledge of the Running landscape and culture.
- Familiarity with sneakers, fashion, and music trends.
- Experience developing global marketing strategies.
- Ability to navigate a global organization across multiple functions.
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills.
- Extensive experience in brand strategy, positioning, product launches, and marketing plan execution.
- Proven ability to balance long-term planning with effective execution.
- Experience in leading and developing sizable teams.
- Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 25%).

- Compensation: Pay range of $136,945.00 - $216,460.00 annually (actual base pay varies based on experience, time in role, internal equity, geographic location, and more).
