Position Overview

Join TikTok as a Vertical Product Marketing Manager for the Media & Entertainment vertical in New York. In this role, you will be part of the North America Monetization Product Strategy & Operations team, helping US advertisers build their brands and drive revenue through innovative advertising solutions. You will focus on a Retail sub-vertical, partnering with Sales and Product leadership to shape go-to-market strategies and ensure product adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, define and lead a Media & Entertainment subvertical go-to-market strategy in collaboration with key sales leadership.
  • Drive sales enablement, product positioning, and work with cross-functional teams to execute full-funnel plans.
  • Partner with the Sales team to understand user pain points, formulate business requirements, and prioritize solutions to guide product development.
  • Lead market research including opportunity assessment, competitive analysis, and customer feedback while representing the vertical with Product Management and Engineering.
  • Utilize an in-depth understanding of the TikTok ecosystem and competitive landscape to provide strategic feedback and positioning.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in direct sales, product marketing, strategy, or product management with advertising technology products.
  • 5+ years of significant experience in a specific industry vertical (e.g., as a sales person or a vertical product marketing manager).
  • Proven ability to partner with and influence product teams and/or engineering to articulate market requirements.
  • Experience working with sales teams to develop and implement go-to-market strategies.

  • Full-funnel sales experience with a strong product focus and attention to technical details.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills at all levels of seniority.
  • A revenue-driven mindset with recommendations guided by business impact.

  • Compensation: Base salary range of $128,000 - $244,889 annually. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
