Position Overview
Production Supervisor (CNC Supervisor) opportunity overseeing our CNC Swiss Machining and Hydromat Departments on 1st Shift, Monday – Friday 6am – 2:30pm. The role reports to the Production Manager. Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000 annually.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of company policies, procedures, processes, equipment, and capabilities to meet customer expectations.
- Plan work, assign tasks, and coordinate workflow to balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale while meeting manufacturing objectives and delivery targets.
- Train and support the manufacturing team to resolve production issues and improve processes.
- Hire, train, direct, motivate, evaluate, and reward team members while taking corrective action when necessary.
- Monitor production issues, collaborate with customers and internal resources, and ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards.
- Manage performance reviews and disciplinary processes in line with company policies and government regulations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and maintain timely, accurate records and reports.
- Conduct accident investigations as required and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a CNC Machining Department.
- High school education required; some college education in a related field is preferred.
- Proven ability to lead teams toward achieving safety, quality, productivity, cost control, and positive employee relations.
- Experience with continuous improvement techniques and a commitment to process enhancement.
- Strong customer orientation with excellent communication, relationship-building, presentation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to understand and utilize financial statements as a management tool.
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency with company systems and programs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and effective time management skills.
- High energy, a sense of urgency in responding to customer needs, and a high level of personal and professional integrity.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accurate records and reports.
