Bumble is looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and organized events-focused Coordinator to help build Bumble’s brand as the leading relationships and social networking app in the United States. Reporting to the Community Marketing Manager, you will support collegiate marketing efforts through ideation and project management of experiential activations that build brand love across college campuses.
Leaning on your knowledge of what’s relevant and on-trend, you will deliver high-impact, shareable moments to a Gen-Z audience while piloting new tactics. Bumble’s core values are rooted in kindness and equality, and our college marketing approach embodies these ideals.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with external agencies to project manage timelines and deliverables.
- Develop workback plans to keep internal work streams on track.
- Coordinate event staffing and schedules for experiential programming.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including PR/Communications, Legal, Merch, Influencer, and Integrated Marketing.
- Coordinate merchandise orders, tracking, and delivery of event merchandise.
- Manage the Splash events calendar and work with the Creative team on updated assets and copy.
- Ideate and own the pre-event promotional strategy to raise awareness and attendance.
- Research key events and partnerships that resonate with Gen Z in North America.
- Provide on-site support for College IRL programming to drive growth and meet business KPIs.
- Follow up post-activity by gathering reports, collating photos, and storytelling results.
- Develop creative briefs and collaborate with the Creative team to create assets for a Gen Z audience.
- Manage and contribute to Google Drive, particularly using Google Sheets.
- Brainstorm, identify, and execute events and partnerships across the US.
Required Qualifications
- Based in the US.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum of 1+ year’s experience in Marketing.
- Passion for the Bumble brand vision and values.
- Team player with the ability to foster connection and build trusting relationships.
- Up-to-date with social and cultural trends and adept at identifying new trends.
- Highly organized, detail oriented, with strong planning and project management skills.
- Self-starter with a 'can-do' attitude who takes ownership with minimal oversight.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to honest, open dialogue.
- Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
