Position Overview
Honest Hospitality Team is proud to announce the opening of an upscale private dining facility in the heart of Summerlin. Our focus is on scratch cooking, executive-level cuisine, and providing an exceptional guest experience within a positive, employee-forward culture. We are seeking a dedicated Steward to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that our kitchen and service areas are kept clean, organized, and efficient, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for both team members and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation across the kitchen, storage, and shared areas.
- Support the setup and breakdown of Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and special events, ensuring equipment, supplies, and workspaces are properly prepared, stocked, and stored.
- Collaborate with cooks, stewards, and service teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
- Adhere to all food-safety and sanitation guidelines to create a safe working environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or steward in a restaurant is preferred, but not required.
- Basic understanding of kitchen sanitation, food-safety guidelines, and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull moderate to heavy items and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and efficient time-management skills with strong teamwork capabilities.
