This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions providing centralized support across business unit teams, functions, and locations.

You will join a diverse team of finance professionals responsible for supporting financial planning, analysis, and performance management for Blue Origin’s Corporate Finance team. In this role you will deploy financial tools and processes that enable finance to partner with the business, ensuring excellent financial management at scale to lower the cost to access space. As a self-starter and effective communicator, you will represent Corporate Finance with Business Unit finance teams, cross-functional communities, and executive leadership.

Compensation: WA applicants: $120850.00-$169189.65 (Other site ranges may differ)

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to collect, document, and communicate business requirements to solve ambiguous and complex issues with a systematic approach.
  • Create content and present data to support program, financial, and operations reviews.
  • Work with customer-partners and domain specialists to generate financial data reporting that facilitates key business decisions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain user-friendly financial dashboards and reporting to support business partners’ financial needs.
  • Serve as a change agent with strong credibility and influence within the organization.
  • Perform data mining across diverse data sets.
  • Stay aligned with deadlines and drive appropriate actions in line with business function forecasts.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficient in ERP tools, financial databases, and accounting software.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and influencing abilities.
  • Effective project management and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic, and critical thinking.
  • High integrity, ethics, and judgment.
  • Ability to foster trust and build inclusive professional relationships.
  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, or another analytical field.
  • 8 years of experience in business or data analysis with a finance focus.
  • Intermediate experience with data mining using SQL.
  • Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel (Macros, Power Query, and Power Pivot).
  • Experience with data mining across diverse data sets.
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills with the ability to converse with non-technical business partners.
  • Highly skilled collaborator and influencer capable of interacting with multiple business partners and team members.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, a U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
  • Ability to earn trust and maintain positive, professional relationships while contributing to a culture of inclusion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • CPA designation or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Python and workflow automation tools (Alteryx, Databricks, Tableau Prep).
  • Advanced analytical skills in statistics, Monte Carlo simulation, and machine learning.
  • Proficiency in Tableau or Microsoft BI.
  • Experience with overhead rate modeling and analysis.
  • Experience with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
