Position Overview

Join the Sales Force Behind Genomic Innovation in Healthcare at Myriad Genetics. We’re transforming lives through pioneering molecular diagnostics that empower physicians and patients with actionable insights. As a leader in personalized medicine across Women’s Health, Oncology, and Urology, you will be the face of cutting-edge genetic testing solutions, including hereditary cancer, prenatal and carrier screenings, as well as germline and somatic testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with healthcare providers in Women’s Health, Oncology, and Urology within your territory.
  • Educate providers on the clinical value of Myriad’s genetic tests to improve patient outcomes.
  • Drive adoption of our Women's Health and Oncology portfolios through strategic territory management.
  • Collaborate with regional and area sales leaders to exceed growth targets and expand market presence.
  • Increase Myriad test orders for assigned products by implementing an action plan to drive growth.
  • Boost weekly order volumes by educating, customizing solutions, and leading customer conversations in various practice settings.
  • Offer unique perspectives to customers and influence adoption of new approaches to disease assessment and treatment.
  • Identify, develop, and manage commercial relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
  • Capitalize on commercial opportunities within your region to drive growth.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle, including new business development and lead generation.
  • Attend local trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events.
  • Stay current on industry and marketplace trends in your therapeutic area.

Required Qualifications

  • Specific knowledge in the therapeutic areas of oncology, urology, and/or women’s health.
  • Salesforce.com or similar CRM experience.
  • Proven experience developing and managing commercial relationships with physicians, practices, and key opinion leaders.
  • Verifiable track record of building and growing a sales territory through effective commercial programs and initiatives.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management, scheduling, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • A keen sense of the impact of issues and the decisiveness to take appropriate action.
  • Must be flexible, innovative, and self-motivated with the willingness to work extra hours as needed.
  • Working knowledge and application of HIPAA laws, privacy, and ethics surrounding patient information.
  • Strong professional values and ethics that support Myriad's mission.
  • Ability to resist compromising corporate values under sales pressure.
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive patient and physician information.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and CRM systems (preferably Salesforce).
  • Willingness and ability to travel daily in the assigned territory, including overnights as needed.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe and satisfactory driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of sales experience in diagnostic/molecular testing, medical devices, or specialty pharmaceutical sales.
  • Preferred product launch experience.
