Technical Quality Engineering Manager - Remote

Key Responsibilities

• As a manager: Establish performance goals for team members, provide regular constructive feedback, recognize high performers, implement development plans and coaching, foster team spirit, induct new joiners, allocate workload effectively, lead quality initiatives, report on quality-related metrics, and manage distributed Quality Engineering teams.
• As an individual contributor: Write code in a C#-based test framework to develop automation for REST web services, utilize SQL for database verification, collaborate to improve automation frameworks and methodologies, participate in Agile development (including requirements analysis, test planning and execution), perform exploratory, functional, and regression testing, and work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of Quality Engineering experience including Agile Software Development, test automation, software release procedures, defect analysis, and mentoring.
• Strong coding skills and experience with automation frameworks for REST web services.
• Proficiency in SQL for database validation and functional test automation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred 2+ years of engineering management experience.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, GitHub, Azure, and AWS.
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications and professional memberships are a plus.
