Job Description
Position Overview
This position is recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It is essential for carrying out and supporting the mission of the US Cyber Command. Classified in the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure, the position is located in the DISA - HC/Operations Support Office.
Required Qualifications
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated experience reviewing IT work and data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency with standards.
- Customer Service: Proven ability in maintaining customer relationships, assessing IT needs, and tailoring IT products and services accordingly.
- Oral Communication: Experience briefing mid-level management and IT staff, including conveying technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Ability to identify alternatives and resolve complex information-related issues by gathering and applying diverse sources of information.
- Qualifying Experience: At least one year of experience at the GG-12 level demonstrating competencies such as applying change management principles, ensuring data integrity, analyzing workflows, and developing key process metrics. Candidates must describe how they meet these requirements in their resume, with all qualifications met within 30 days after the closing date.
- There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-12 grade level.
